Merizo is a task and project manager that stays out of your way. It starts as a simple list. Due dates, budgets, custom fields, repeating tasks and wall displays are all there the moment you want them, and none of them cost extra.
Phenomenal cosmic power. Itty‑bitty interface.
The free trial opens in 2027. No credit card, no app store.
How it works
No setup wizard. No template gallery. A project is a list of tasks with a few sections, and that is enough to start.
Name a project and type the tasks. Sections are yours to name: To do, In progress and Done, or whatever your work calls them.
One person is responsible for it. Others can help with it, and anyone who just wants to know can follow it. Nobody wonders whose job it was.
On your phone, on your laptop, or on a TV in the office. Work without internet and it catches up when you are back online.
Features
Custom fields, start dates, budgets, repeating tasks, grouping by owner. Merizo has all of them. Each one stays out of sight until you turn it on, and it only appears in the list where you turned it on.
Add a column to your list without adding it to anyone else’s.
Each task is one line. Click it to open the details. Close them and the list is all you see.
Keyboard shortcuts for everything, if you want them. Undo takes anything back.
Every change is saved on your device first, then sent along when you are online. Rename a task on a plane, shut the laptop, and it is there when you land. Nothing is lost to a dropped connection.
No loading wheel. The list updates the instant you type.
Undo works on everything: text, dates, moves, assignments, even deletes.
Share a project with a client and they see that project and nothing else. Guests are free.
Screens
Project list, My Tasks, calendar, wall display and phone. Same rows, same shapes, same words for status.
A wall display puts any list on a TV in the office, with no login on the screen. Give it several projects and it rotates through them.
Why Merizo
Other tools sell you a plan, then sell you the workflows, the reporting, the extra projects and the automation on top. Merizo doesn’t.
Custom fields, repeating tasks, calendars, wall displays, guests, exports. One license includes all of it, for everyone in your organization. There is no higher tier to unlock.
Anyone in your organization needs a licensed seat. Anyone outside it, a client, a partner, a contractor, is a guest: they see the projects you share with them, they can own and close tasks, and they never cost you anything.
Unlimited projects, unlimited tasks, unlimited guests. The list stays one line per task whether it holds ten tasks or ten thousand, and every screen is built to be read at a glance.
Why we built it
“Every tool we tried wanted to be the center of our day, and every useful feature was on the next plan up. We wanted one that would sit quietly, hold the list, and make it very hard to lose track of who owns what. So we made it. Merizo runs our own work today, and the trial opens to everyone in 2027.”
